Release Notes 9/03/2021
- We have enabled a new tool that allows us to guide our users through new features and workflows. We promise to aim for succinct guidance that won't impact your day to day work.
- Line breaks were not displaying correctly in the published version of Web Writer reports. This is now resolved.
- Photos in the photo library are now unselected after the photo assignment action is complete. This was done in order to prevent unintended actions being taken on photos previously selected.
- Comments, descriptions, and disclaimers are now sorted alphabetically in the web writer, library, and preview to allow for easier and more consistent identification.
- The image size and compression amount of Web Writer photos has been increased. We will work to monitor the impact to the overall system performance with these larger file sizes. We expect this to have some impact on report upload times.
- Web Writer Minor and Moderate issues were not being displayed in the Summary. This is now resolved.
- The filter on the Web Writer Inspection List view was not working consistently. This is now resolved.
- Web Writer "Other Information" is now available as an additional field for item-level comments. Some items have been pre-populated with Other Information.
- We made a number of changes behind the scenes to improve the overall performance of the Web Writer. These changes are expected to impact the responsiveness of the toggles, fields, and text entry.
- An "About" section is now available in our Web Writer mobile applications. This information is useful when reporting issues or raising questions with our support team.
- The inspection restore option within the Inspection list view wasn't working properly but that should now be fixed in Web Writer.
- Inspectors using Firefox to access Web Writer were experiencing a delay in seeing their newly created inspections. This is now resolved.
- A button has been added to the Web Writer inspection upload screen that will take you directly to the published report in your inspector dashboard.
